• Claude Opus 5 (claude-opus-5) replaces Opus 4.8 in the model picker as the go-to Claude for complex agentic coding and enterprise work.
• 1M token context window and up to 128k output tokens — long planning horizons for agents that run for hours.
• Pricing unchanged from Opus 4.8: $5 / $25 per million tokens (input / output).
• Full reasoning-effort ladder (low → max), defaulting to high.

What happens to Opus 4.8

• New chats and agents now default to Opus 5.
• Existing agents and chats pinned to Opus 4.8 (or 4.7 / 4.6) are routed to Opus 5 automatically — nothing for you to do, and nothing gets pricier.

How to switch

• Open any agent → Agent Settings → Model → pick Claude Opus 5.
• The Anthropic lineup in TeamDay is now: Fable 5 (hardest long-horizon missions), Opus 5 (complex coding and agents), Sonnet 5 (daily driver), Haiku 4.5 (fast and cheap).
